Categorising sensitive documents
Correctly categorising information helps others understand its importance. As well preventing unauthorised access, it allows appropriate security measures (like encryption and access controls) to be enabled.
Why is it important?
Correctly categorising and encrypting sensitive documents protects against unauthorised access. This helps prevent data breaches and disclosures.
It also helps protect documents if they are lost or stolen. Only those with decryption keys or passwords will be able to open them.
Priority Tier
Behaviours in SebDB are ranked by their impact on risk. Tier 1 behaviours have the biggest impact, Tier 4 behaviours the least.
Risk Mitigated
