All Behaviours > Checking emails before forwarding them
Checking emails before forwarding them
Messages from workplace contacts are more likely to be trusted than messages from other sources. Forwarding messages without verifying their source can spread malware. All messages should be checked for signs of phishing before they are forwarded to workplace contacts.
Why is it important?
Friends and family are more likely to open an email coming from a trusted source. They may not check for suspicious signs or know what to look for. Checking an email before forwarding it on means less chance of malware being spread.
