SB057 Checks the URLs to ensure a website is legitimate
To trick people, criminals often include well-known organisations or brand names in malicious URLs. Thoroughly checking the domain and subdomain of a URL decreases the risk of accessing a malicious site.
Why is it important?
Malicious sites can download malware or try to scam visitors. Their URL is often made to appear legitimate, especially if the website is impersonating another brand.
Domains and subdomains can give a sign to any suspicious characteristics. By checking these over before clicking on a website, it may prevent a security incident.
Priority Tier
Behaviours in SebDB are ranked by their impact on risk. Tier 1 behaviours have the biggest impact, Tier 4 behaviours the least.

Risk Mitigated
